Boating in Saputara Lake
The Saputara Lake is the main attraction of the hill resort. There is a Boat Club here from where you can hire sailboats, paddleboats and rowing boats and enjoy boating in the lake. The Sun Rise and Sun Set Points provide panoramic and varied views of the sun. It also provides a perfect view of Saputara. You can reach Malegaon after a 1.5 km walk in the direction of Waghai. There are several gardens at Saputara like the Lake Garden, the Step Garden and the Rose Garden. These gardens are a perfect place to laze around while on a holiday.
Sunset Point - The Table Point
Gives a breathtaking view of a vast spans of Dang Forest. It provides an ariel view of distant villages in forest. This thick forest around Saputara is dotted with Adivasi (tribal) villages.

Gira Falls
Makes an excellent excursion option from Saputara. Just 52 km away from Saputara the Gira Waterfalls should not be missed especially during the months of June to November. A km. off the Saputara-Waghai Road leads to a vast clearing where the picturesque Gira Falls emerging from the Kapri tributary can be viewed.

The amateur nature lover can marvel at different varieties of bamboo like the Chinese Bamboo, Golden Bamboo, Beer Bottle Bamboo etc. and enjoy strolling along the beautiful walkways each lined with different species of tree.
A rich and old forest predominantly covered by very tall teak trees, mango groves and gigantic creepers. The forest is extremely dense and some parts are dark even during normal daytime. The forest is a habitat of Monkeys, Deer, a few Leopards and a wide species of birds. Permission is required to enter the Park.
